I spent 5 months in guate this summer, took this bus to Pana many times, nice video. They were actually joking with you about the shooting and that's why you needed to hide. My guatemalan friends tell me the real reason you need to duck is because the bus is supposed to only pick up passengers after the main bus stop and not through the city, you are supposed to take the red city buses. And they will get a ticket if they get caught with people. They probably told you it was a shooting for fun.

Nice video. My wife, was from huehuetenango, guatemala, and Im glad that she, and her favmilyu were able to escape from the harsh realities, of poverty. She no lives happilly, in Canada, and I can be greatful, that she does not have to suffer, of any kind, whether it be malnutrition, murder, caused by machine, or man. Its great, thoughto see, what modern Guatemala,looks, like, though its a shame, that their gov't is so corrupt.
