Well if there are inaccuracies, lets get them corrected. Go ahead and do your research, there have been others to bring them out, (as myself). Since this video came out, some errors have been corrected!!

This is an absolutely wonderful video. I want to go to the Bahamas and I live here. Now I understand some of what my mother was saying about things being so much simpler in her time.

This is a wonderful video (despite its inaccuracies). It is such a shame, though, how we have let so much history just vanish. I am thinking particularly about some of our historical buildings that are no more or allowed to fall into ruin, as well as our diminishing numbers of Flamingo's and Bahama Parrots. We Bahamians need to have a little more pride in our heritage or pretty soon, if we are not careful, we will have nothing more than a few pictures and memories left.

It was in June. Either '41,'42,'43 or '44. He came after June in '40 and left before June of '45??

Fantastic to see Nassau in the 1940s. A pity they didn't show the Royal Victoria.

Just to let you know, neither Black people nor White people are natives to the bahamas, all the natives where taken by Columbas and sent to work. You see alot more black people then you do white people, its just not focused on them. but if you actually watched more then the first 2 mins of the vid you would have noticed that the police force is mainly black people who where "Oppressed, Uneducated and Hidden away" as you say... Educate yourself before you try and Educate others
