What is the point of being mean to her? She's done nothing wrong.
I have a bit of a story. I'm from Texas, and a girl moved here from Maine a few weeks ago. She's never heard the way we talk so she has no idea what we're saying half the time. i.e "fixin'", as in "I'm fixin' to do that." It drives her mad. Nobody ask me why we use "fixin'" in that sense. I really don't know.

This D4 is such a arsewipin' GOBSHITE!
Translation:
D4 - posh Dubliner who thinks they're 'rad'
Arsewipin' - someone who's face looks like an arse has been wiped on it
Gobshite - gob and shite - shite coming out of one's gob i.e. mouth i.e. talking shite i.e. not making any sense...

I have to agree with brettdark. I know quite a deal of folks who use words such as those, myself included. Like "banjaxed" as odd as it sounds I have used even if nobody knows what I am saying, all be it I do come from an almost entirely Irish and English/Welsh family.
